2013 Part III: Tummies, Tangled, and Timeout

SEPTEMBER
Grandma Humpherys' 100th birthday.

Late Nights

We got and sold Hampton. I couldn't handle the smell. And the flies.

The first time this happened.

OCTOBER
Bethany had a birthday.

HALLOWEEEEN!


We took in the lovely "fresh" air of gilcrease nature sactuary.

NOVEMBER
Christmas tree. Check.

Santa picture. Check.

Super clean fridge. Check.

DECEMBER
Best models ever.

Mini hikes with the minis.

This seriously happened again.

And this just plain happened. I'm pretty sure this is a highly accurate portrayal of the nativity.

2013 is almost summarized (pfff....as if 3 posts was a summary). Christmas requires it's own post. I feel like last January was an eon ago. Especially since August wasn't even mobile then. 

2013 really was a good year.











2013 Part II: Parks, Pain, and Pools

Movie in the park. A becomes half alien.

The boy climbs more.

Slam Scarlett's foot in the car door. Hard. (Read: worst parent ever). Michael K-tapes. She insists on the bandaid.

She makes Funshine watch Funshine.

BBQ with friends.

JUNE
Cooling off.

Cooling off some more. This time with friends.

And some more. This time she learns to swim.

He has a birthday!

JULY
She and he lounge.

"CHEESE!"

Michael builds a gun.

Lightning!

Laundry. it. never. ends.

She still doesn't meet the weight limit for the baby carrier. Who has babies this big?

AUGUST
She makes a mess.

He teaches her how to blow chocolate milk bubbles.

Mornings will Jillian.

Grandpa turns 90.

Looking gorgeous on the first day of Girls Camp. I will always be shorter than the Beehives.

Cake #4 and #5 of the year for Megan.

2013 Part 1: (gall) Bladders, Birthdays, and Baths

JANUARY
Blowing balls out of the shop vac.

She can't stop painting. (Hot dog and bun in a backpack)

Perfect month for walks.

Perfect size for snuggles.


FEBRUARY
Her drawing skills improve.

He learns to crawl.

He sleeps.

*Michael leaves glasses behind for Lasik (I will neveerrrrr do that...)


MARCH
Her wish was granted, "I want dinosaur jammies like August! Dat cool!"


Gall bladder removed.



She put Daddy's socks on, "I putting Daddy's socks on."

Easter bunny visits.

Gained an egg dying partner. YES!!!

APRIL
She turns three.

Cake #1 of the year.

He figures out he loves laying in the bath.

Michael buys project #1 of the year (...as of October we sold our legal limit of cars this year).

She went to Disney on Ice!
