Worst tasting cookies ever.

We made cookies out of salt and flour.

We painted them.

We did not eat them.
(Even though we made them in the kitchen, put them on a cookie sheet, tossed them in the oven, then put them on a plate at the dinner table. No. We did not eat them.)

And we painted some more.

Painting is a messy job.

You can't have these.

We hung them.
I guess they are called ornaments, not cookies.
My bad.

 I took a bath.

The End.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I've been wanting to make stockings for years. One year (3 years ago) I even bought fabric....this year I finally made a stocking out of it! It's the stripe fabric if you're curious. Thanks to Michael's niece for the patteren...now we have cute stockings just like her!

And isn't our fireplace cute? It needs some puttying and paint and baseboard on the right, but it sure beats this.

We luckily got my great uncle's tree passed down to us. They are just getting too old to put there's up anymore. I got so ambitious I even made a tree skirt for our new beauty. I thought it was going to be a simple project. Note to self: never sew anything round ever again. And use an effing pattern.

Scarlett is wanting on the computer to type up her post. Go to her blog to see more of our festivities!
