The mushroom guy was really nice. They were a bit on the pricey side, but he had samples of cooked mushrooms and I couldn't resist. Plus, you can't get these guys in the grocery store. Can't wait to make something awesomely delicious with them!

farmer's market love
This is our loot from this morning's excursion to the Gresham Farmer's Market. Kirby cucumbers, fresh vine ripened tomatoes (there was another one, but we ate it as soon as we got home--SO GOOD), giant peaches, oyster mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, and some maitake mushrooms. All grown here in Oregon.
